Voice to text
As a CARIAD product, the Mobile Digital Assistant was designed to enhance communication between the driver and their vehicle through natural language interaction. The concept builds on the in-car integration of ChatGPT, extending its capabilities to mobile devices.
The assistant allows users to ask FAQs and general questions about the car’s basic and advanced features, supporting both voice and text input. The goal was to create a seamless experience that complements the in-car assistant and aligns with Volkswagen’s modern design language.
Text-to-Text
A minimal and intuitive interface was developed to ensure clarity and consistency across touchpoints. The clean layout, subtle motion, and simplified visual hierarchy were inspired by the aesthetic of Volkswagen’s newest models, reinforcing brand coherence and streamlining the user experience.
This foundation was created as a white-label solution, allowing each brand within the Volkswagen Group — such as Audi and
Volkswagen — to rebrand and adapt the experience to their specific identity while maintaining a shared design and interaction logic.
